Spencer is going to China on business tomorrow.... His company has a meeting with a certain Swedish giant and they have a furniture show there so they are off to Shanghai...

so I'll be alone for a week! Mixed emotions...

But, he has been gloating for a day now that he has VIP entrance and tickets to the Shanghai Worlds Fair... VIP entrance to the Swedish building and tickets to wherever else they want...

I have never wanted to go to China, but that does sound good... especially the VIP entrance as even with tickets I don't particularly want to stand in those queues to get into the other exhibitions!

So here I am left a wonderful Turquoise! Blue, from being left behind alone and a dash of green from envy!

I hope you aren't to blue, I like being alone. I would rather stay home and do whatever I liked than take a flight to China. Hugs and hope you are okay, indulge yourself with I don't know, chocolate or whatever you like..That will make you feel better for sure.

hehe, Thanx Kellie...

I do enjoy myself alone usually... and you're right it gives yourself a lot more time to do those things you sometimes don't get around to doing...

don't say the CHOC word!! Wink I have sworn off sugary drinks but I have been cheating by eating candy... now to cut off that final supply of sugar!
I have actually been good... only been drinking water and something else I could never do before... coffee, black without sugar... I have been thinking that weight issues I have isn't related as much to excessive eating in my case but to the amount of sugar in the form of sweetened drinks and snack that I ate additionally...
so I am working to cut that out of my diet... but once I have one block of chocolate i am done for... Wink

I thought of the paleo diet but not eating rice in Taiwan is harder than you can imagine... it is everywhere around me...

Yes, enjoy the alone time. Watch TV naked and stuff. Laughing As for diet, watch out for things high in Carbs as well. Carbs turn to sugar in your body.

I have been to China once. Spent some time in Shanghai and Suzhou. Shanghai is like Chicago with kanji. Suzhou, they call a town (3 million), that is much more traditional Chinese. It sure feels odd in Suzhou, because an American really sticks out in the crowd. It was an interesting visit, but I would not be excited to go back.

I was without bf for several weeks at a time this summer, I know how you feel! I have a carb problem, I just discovered this great sourdough bakery. I just ate 2 slices of bread the size of a child's head, haha. The bread was huge! They are 1kg (2lbs) each so we bought half.

hehe...

sourdough!...... yum... I'd better not find a good bakery... my mom used to bake her own bread on the farm... another major weakness too...

Wayne, I never particularly wanted to go to China for various reasons... but even I have to admit the world's fair sounds interesting if you can get that VIP entrance and free tickets...

I had the laziest day... really put my feet up...
