I need to make a batch of Sugared Lemon soap for a friend at work. I am not feeling creative and welcome ideas for making it. I will be using the green Crafter's choice loaf mold.

Fire away....

I will use my standard recipe. I am looking for ideas on how I should put it together. Swirl, layer, white layer on top, etc.

What about something like this?

Suggestions welcome 22ndBatch005

Not a great pic but it was easy to make Jen. I poured the white layer, waited until it was thick enough to hold texture then used my spatula to texture the top of it. Then I poured the yellow layer, used the spatula to dip the top layer into the white a bit, then I textured the top of the yellow layer. I called this Lemon Sherbet and used a blend of BBs Energy fo and may chang eo - smelled yum!

Otherwise you could do an itp swirl like this -

Great idea with the technique and the addition of the may chang and the Energy. I have lots of Energy (well, not me per se). Thanks Tanya!

Tanya gave you some great ideas. You could do ( on a tilt) 1/2 white , 1/2 yellow.. Or a thin white layer, thick yellow, thin white.

Tanya , your soap is gorgeous..

TC... awesome pics... I love all your ideas and I am so excited to see what you do Jen...

I was thinking of two matching light / dark layers with a sprinkling of dark pigment to make a dark boundary layer... I love me those...!!

Oh, a dark line would look awesome! I am looking forward to getting my WSP green moulds so I can do a proper tilt layer Kellie. The way-too-flexible silicone cake loaf mould I am currently using would probably spill everywhere Smile

Oh, thanks guys for the suggestions. I tried to marry a couple of them to create the final project. It's in the oven right now. I have to say, this was the longest tracing soap I have ever made, using the stickblender...10 minutes. I thought I was going to burn out the motor on my lil' stick. It looks good, though. Can't wait to cut. Maybe I will get my ars in gear and photo some of the recent stuff I made.
