What the what?

So I'm making Liquid soap for the third time and something has gone off. Everything was going fine until I started cooking my paste. It changed from a decent thick mass to a much softer product. It cooked for three full hours and is just not right. My measurements are solid and I'm wondering if I could have evaporated water from the paste during the cook? If so, can I get it back in? By my calculations it could be as much as 7+oz.
Any insight soapers, or is this batch going into the laundry room and another started to sell?
