I know how you feel! My weekend:
Friday: 15.40-23
Saturday: 07-16
Sunday: 9-21.30 (12.5 hour shift!)

Didn't get much sleep Friday night since it's a 30min drive from work to home.

I worked 12's for years, it takes a toll on you, but the extra days off are so nice. like Bret said you do get used to them.

I actually worked similar hours before ... it is just that for the past few days I have been staying up at all hours at night when I should have started training myself and adjusting for the changes... keeping irregular hours and doing with only a few hours of sleep because I had been up online for all ungodly hours...

it doesn't help that my partner is a vampire that has a natural resistance to lack of sleep... stays up late always but has a long lunch break (more like a siesta) that is also a nap time... which I don't have... second day is done... luckily I have the afternoon off and i can catch up a little now... and as I am more tired I have been sleeping earlier every night... slowly getting myself adjusted to it all... hehe! I have simply been too lazy the last year or so...

one good thing about all the extra hours is the extra $ and lack of time to spend it... means more savings hopefully... Wink
